I have kept the Webcam/Voice Chat Room, now I have added an instant messenger into the mix! Both should run smooth with a web cam and/or microphone! You can find it within our Entertainment Realm area.
Both services are free and we will never charge you or force you to download any buggy programs, but it does run on java, which usually comes with any PC/laptop! Java is quite easy to get at www.java.com.
We are keeping it open to our guests for now so that everyone can get the feel for it. Once everyone is comfortable with it, we will be changing it so that only members of our forums can access the features. If all goes well, I may extend the time for our guests to the end of summer, but if any problems arise from any guests, I will be forced to set the board containing these features to "Members Only!" earlier than expected.
We do request that everyone registers a username for our new features. Please visit www.userplane.com and register a username for our chat room and IM features so that nobody comes in as a guest and/or takes your name. Registration for a handle is free at Userplane. With a Userplane handle, you may upload a pic and set up a mini-profile for it.
