Welcome to our Application, Affiliation and Advertisement section. This post will explain things for this section.
We'd like to extend our arms to our members to become a staff member. We are supplying some set standards to becoming a staff member.
We are looking for 3 types of staff:
For moderators in non-magic boards:
Now, for designers...
As for "specialty" staff/moderators...
We hope that those who apply can come and show that they want the position by being active. When applying for a position, a note will be attached to the member's profile with the link to the application post.
When applying, please note some key posts if neccesary. Include other forums that you are a moderator of and please leave us your name from that forum so to contact you there for comfirmation purposes. Include when you joined as well, we can always look into it but having the info right there and then makes it easier on the current staff.
In other owrds, give us as much info as possible to consider you a staff member.
Our staff members will have access to the staff area and will have access to see what codes we have and to our staff discussion area to discuss our community's situation and future!
Affiliation:
we request that all affiliates be from Proboards for now. Depending on how successful things turn out, we may expand to other communities.
We do request that if you wish to have a mini-banner posted in our affiliates box, that you please supply us with your URL, mini-banner and title of your board. we do ask to at least return the favor by providing an affiliates link on yours, it's only fair!
Advertisements
With advertisements, we will accept those in which you are a part of, if it's a school or a personal website that you are a part of. In other words, if you run a magic shop that you want to get the word out for, you may place a URL link to your website. Please give some information about the link when providing one for it'll help you look more appealing and will drive in some more traffic for you!

- Moderators for non-magic sections. Areas will be for the gaming section and the general non-magic section of our forums.
- Designers. They will be the ones behind the looks of the forums, mainly skins and hex coloring. Minnimal work on categories apply as we are pretty much set on categories and each category's boards.
- specialty Staff. They will be leading the "Magic Norm" section. they may moderate up to 2 boards of their likeing and may share theor moderating with a second moderator.
For moderators in non-magic boards:
- The person must be a registered member and have an active account.
- The member must show some sort of skills for the position by replying in some areas and helping out when neccesary.
- Option for 2 seperate accounts can be looked into.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Now, for designers...
- it is easier to become a designer for our forums by including a sample forums in which they are a designer of. Providing a link and name on that particular forums will help us to see if you are that person to prevent fraud.
- Designer can choose at this point if they want 2 seperate accounts on our forums; one for designing and the other to participate in our regular activities.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
As for "specialty" staff/moderators...
- Must show their skills and knowledge in the area of specialty.
- Limit of 2 boards to moderate and may share boards to moderate, so each specialty moderator is not alone and will have help.
- the "specialty" staff will only be moderators in the "Magic Norm" category.
- 2 seperate accounts may not be requested and is optional.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
