There are a few things we wish to know about you. Please answer any questions to the best of your ability.
When applying for a moderator's position:
When applying for the magic staff position:
When applying for a coding/designer position:
Things like the questions asked will ensure that we are getting a good staff member or not. If you feel more information is neccesary to get the position, please feel free to add to the questions, for the more the merrier and it'll make it easier for you to get the position that you are requesting for.
When applying for a position, please title the thread properly. Please post your forums name with the proper thread title:
Any thread not including any title listed in the above list and does not answer at least the 3 questions for each particular position will be sent to the trash can. You may repost once more with the proper format. You will be notified via PM with any information to be exchanged. Please be as detailed as possible and provide enough information in the least amount of posting space.
All staff members recruited will have certain powers to do what they have to do. For example, designers and coders will not be able to moderate anywhere within our forums but hey will have access to our hidden staff section, codes, headers and footers and anything else needed to design our forums properly. Moderators will have basic moderator powers along side our specialty staff, but their powers may vary.
Specialty magic staff members may keep their forums name if their moderator powers are set to less than normal moderators. Same goes for designers and coders.
Moderators on the other hand will need a new account for their moderator rank so to protect themselves from harassment on their regular accounts. Information in their mini-profile may not be given or kept to a minimum.
When applying for a moderator's position:
- Why do you wish to be a moderator?
- Do you have experience as a moderator? Where at and what's your name there so we can check up on it.
- Do you know any folks who we can refer to for a background check?
When applying for the magic staff position:
- Why do you wish to apply to be a magical specialty staff member here?
- How much experience do you have in the magic field?
- Do you run a website that we may see for reference?
- What field of magic do you specialize in?
When applying for a coding/designer position:
- Are you applying for the designing coding or coding and designing position? (We prefer experience in both fields)
- Where do you have experience in this field so we have a reference and so we can see samples of your work with ProBoards designs?
Things like the questions asked will ensure that we are getting a good staff member or not.
